Here at IHMVCU, we believe in supporting our community in every way possible, and we’re excited to announce our partnership with an extraordinary young talent: local high school basketball star, Divine Bourrage. This partnership is all about empowering our youth and highlighting the importance of financial health and planning for a bright future.

Divine has already made a name for herself on the basketball court as one of the top high school girls’ basketball prospects in the nation because of her exceptional skills, dedication, and sportsmanship. But we’ll get more into that in a moment! As she embarks on a new journey towards financial independence, we’re excited to welcome her into the IHMVCU family. She'll be opening her first spending and savings account with us, marking a big step in her financial journey.

Young people like Divine face unique financial challenges and opportunities. Balancing academics, athletics, and a personal life is already a full plate, and adding financial responsibilities can be overwhelming. That’s where IHMVCU comes in. We’re here to provide the guidance and resources needed for our members to thrive financially. Our partnership with Divine will shine a light on the importance of smart money management for young people.

We’ll be right by Divine’s side throughout her financial journey, sharing her experiences and insights with you. This partnership is more than just opening accounts; it's about making managing money a little less intimidating, relatable and fun.

You might recognize the name Divine Bourrage. But let's dig into her background and basketball prowess. Divine is gearing up for her senior year at Davenport North High School this fall. As a forward for the Wildcats, she’s been instrumental in leading her team to a Mississippi Athletic Conference Championship and a spot in the Class 5A state tournament quarterfinals. Divine boasts impressive stats, averaging 19.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game. With over 30 scholarship offers from some of the top women’s college basketball programs, she’s already a standout. This fall she’ll be announcing her college choice – stay tuned!

We’re eager to see what the future holds for Divine, both on the court and in life. We're thrilled to be on this adventure with her. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to stay updated on Divine's journey.

Let's cheer on Divine as she takes on new challenges and achieves her dreams!
